Throughout the Vista Del Oro area, you will find many quiet and quaint tree-lines of many kinds, with views encapsulated by the San Pedro Harbor. Being one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, construction can range from 1920’s to 1950’s construction.  Many of the previous owners in the fishing industry would settle here as it was only a short distance away from the port, and provided such a beautiful environment and scenery. 

In the North East corner of the area, you will find the famed Averill Park.  A beautiful and tranquil space, you can find every so often soon-to-be married couples making used of the Gazebo for their photos.  Take a stroll through the park, have a picnic on the grass, and listen to the sounds of nature. 

Only a short distance away from Averill Park, if you are fond of family owned and operated business, take a walk down to the Weymouth Corners Shopping Center, have a bite to eat at Pirozzi’s, or visit Alva’s for all your musical needs. Keep your eyes peeled for the palm tree lined streets! 

Vista Del Oro, surrounded by the South Shores, Palisades, Holy Trinity, and Plaza areas, and can be largely depicted by it’s cross streets.  The area is defined by 25th & Western, down to 25th & Gaffey, then following 9th & Western.
